Frequently asked questions
How do I become a contributing member of Safe Waterkloof?
Becoming a contributing member is simple. Complete the membership application and our team will guide you through the registration process. Your contribution helps fund security improvements, community projects and the ongoing operation of the Safe Waterkloof initiative.
What is the Street Captain Programme?
The Street Captain Programme encourages residents to become a local point of contact within their street. Street Captains help strengthen communication, welcome new neighbours and support community initiatives, creating a more connected and engaged neighbourhood.
How do the automatic access gates work?
Registered contributing members can participate in the vehicle recognition system. Once your vehicle has been added to the system, participating access points can recognise your number plate and provide convenient entry where applicable.
Who should I contact if I notice suspicious activity?
If you notice suspicious activity or require immediate assistance, please contact the appropriate emergency or security number listed in the Important Contacts section. For non-urgent concerns, you’re welcome to contact the Safe Waterkloof team directly.
Where can I find community documents and newsletters?
Important documents, newsletters, membership information and other community resources are available in the Community Documents section of this page and are updated as new information becomes available.
How can I get more involved in the community?
There are many ways to become involved, from becoming a contributing member and joining the Street Captain Programme to attending community events and supporting neighbourhood initiatives. Every contribution helps strengthen Waterkloof for everyone.
